October is ADHD Awareness Month! Neurofeedback Therapy Can Help!

Maintaining focus and concentration is something that many people struggle with, regardless if it rises to the level of being a clinically diagnosed condition. We have been offering neurofeedback since 2010, and we have helped hundreds of patients over these years with these types of issues. Neurofeedback is a form of "exercise" that helps develop and strengthen the neurological networks within the brain, and by doing so, it can help improve a number of different issues that people of all ages struggle with.

  • Increase focus and concentration

  • Improve executive function

  • Decrease emotional outbursts/behavioral issues

  • Decrease impulsivity and hyperactivity

Testimonials of our Neurofeedback Program

  • "I always wanted to improve my concentration and do better in school, but I always struggled. Before Neurofeedback, I had tried going to Sylvan Learning Center for 3 years. Since doing neurofeedback, I feel like I can think more clearly, am more organized and feel much better about my schoolwork. I am also more outgoing and sleeping better. I have gone from "C's" to "high honors" in school, and received many awards from different teachers for "most improved." And I've also become very neat - I love to clean now. I am very happy I did neurofeedback." - 13 year old girl (Norwalk)

  • "I tried neurofeedback because of my lack of motivation, distraction and ADD. I also couldn't focus in school, causing me to have bad grades even though I was on Concerta and Vyvanse at different times. Since neurofeedback therapy, I am much more focused and attentive and complete tasks much easier. My personality has greatly improved as well. I am very comfortable recommending neurofeedback."

- 16 year old male (Stamford)

  • "Our son did neurofeedback starting in the summer before his senior year, and it absolutely helped him with the college process. His test scores got better, his focus increased, but most noticeable was how much his confidence improved! We always recommend you, your staff and neurofeedback to everyone - we can't say enough about it!" -Wilton father

  • "I just want to let you know I finally passed my board exams!! I am grateful for the neurofeedback and definitely feel it made a positive difference. Thank you for everything!" - Pediatric NeuroPsychiatrist Medical Student (Stamford)

  • I just want to update you after doing neurofeedback during this past winter. I went back to school, and soon I realized I would was reacting differently to things that would usually trigger my anxiety. I was able to concentrate significantly more in class and my short term memory increased. In my life, I was never able to get more than a 3.1 GPA, even with accommodations that included extra time, a different room setting, and a note card to help trigger my memory. But this past semester after Neurofeedback, I decided not to use my accommodations and achieved a 3.5 GPA and made the Deans List! And I made this GPA while taking one of the most difficult classes for me - math. I was able to memorize and understand the problems with ease, unlike ever before! - 17 year old female struggling with panic attacks (Darien)
